IT'S STILL TIME




- 5 days until OE FULL WEEK OF NOT HAVING TO GO TO THAT STUPID FUCKING JOB!

- I went to my last show of 2009 last night. My buddies in The Leviathan's Mandible tore shit up. . .along with In The Shit, Unmen and Headsnatcher
the venue was under this restaurant, which was having a party for several transgenered women dressed like vegas showgirls. . . .and they would constantly find the wrong entrance
so yeah, grind and powerviolence and vegas showgirls

. . .kinda reminds me of the night I went to see Cryptopsy and someone ran behind me in Bjork's swan dress
. . .and when I got home, I read that apparently Bjork was at the show. . . .either they were kidding around about someone who came to the show in a swan dress or. . um . .what??!?!?!
Did i tell that story?!?!?

How did A Place To Bury Strangers hold up live? Exploding Head is such an amazing album, but I'm not sure how well it'd come off live. Their sound is so thick and layered.

Agreed about the drum sound. They usually sound real tinny and mechanical on record.

So, are they really the loudest band in NYC?
