I totally skipped out on work last night. Instead I tried to get caught up before the parent infiltration. Paid bills, sent emails, bank (so I can pay rent), journeyed to IKEA to get some stuff (1/2 of which I put together last night).
Now I literally have only to sweep and mop, put the new, bigger bookshelf together for my DVDs, clean the bathroom and continue with laundry and I am ready for their arrival. At least my apartment is getting the much needed cleaning it has been waiting for my life to slow down enough to get!!!
I am celebrating my last night of freedom for their 9 day visit with drinks and dancing at DNA tonight!
