good morning! I am finally coming out of my morning duldrums. Of course I didn't wake up til 1. Was starving and lucky as my friend crashing in my living room went and got me a burrito when he dropped off his laundry! That combined with a lil Social D is getting me right back to myself. I'll be hyper in no time and hopefully ready to face the overwhelming numbers of eurotrash invading Italian restaurants everywhere.
I actually had to resort to gesturing and trying to "charade" what a prawn was to a table last night. Meanwhile other people are looking around and flagging madly in that I may die if I don't get my bartender right now manner... Of course this is how I pay my rent, so I really ought not to complain, but when you are still not getting the whole tipping thing I don't think they should let you out of your respective country. By the way- have you ever tried to explain a shrimp to a nearly non-english speaker?! Not an easy task, let me tell you!
Oh well, at least there is alcohol after work...
