I have designated Christmas Blend (or Holiday Blend if you dont celebrate Christmas), a smooth blend of 20% Guatemala and 80% aged Yukon, as my favorite coffee...it's in my french press every morning. I recommend you all start your day the same way.

So, I woke up yesterday morning to find myself covered with itchy, hot, red welts. Apparently I am allergic to something. Actually, I started breaking out in hives on Tuesday, but it was only a few. I thought allergies to food only lasted 24 hours. Anyway, in fear that my throat would start swelling up, I ran to the nearest doctor only to pay 115 dollars to have him explain to me what I already know. But, he gave me a bunch of free Allegra, which seems to help...a little.

I'm so excited...I'm almost ready to print my AAS poster. AAS stands for the American Astronomical Society, I am going to present my most current research at their conference in January. I'm really proud of it since I've been doing astrophysical research for years, but this poster( well, the abstract) is my first major publication.

...I still need to finish those grad apps though..

I didn't know that you already were publishing things. That's super cool. Where and when is the next AAS conference? Where do you wanna go to grad school?

coffee is really good, but getting up in the morning and doing anything besides showering and going to work is never in the cards. i need to get a french maid or something.

good luck with the astronomy stuff! publication is always a great start. just dont let the hives cramp your style smile
