8/7: Flashback Friday! Post photos of your high school style
oh goodness. high school was an interesting time for me.
i was one of those people who got along with almost anyone, but rarely spent any time with friends.
plus i was a bit of a nerd. i mean.. i was in marching band and on the math competition team..
i went to state almost every year and made it to nationals for algebra 2.
i still have my marching band shirt though.. comfiest tshirt i own.
anyways. there aren't a ton of photos of me from high school. at least not outside of band and math gear.
i spent the majority of my time in jeans and giant tshirts. usually my band tshirt or my math tshirt.
otherwise, maybe a more fitted black tshirt.. loads of black eyeliner too.
oh lord how i wanted to be a scene kid.
^^ for this one.. i'm the one with the black tank top and black jacket. that was the day i blacked out at band camp from overheating.. woops. also! hilarious fun fact: my boyfriend is in the picture too!

8/14: Review the last movie you watched
moving along to the new @bloghomework
a little over a week ago i watched the new disney re-imagining of Cinderella
i grew up on disney movies and have watched almost every cinderella story i've found so i was super excited about this one!
i was especially excited, though, to see a few familiar names in the cast list (i'm really bad at names so it's exciting to me when i recognize anyone, haha).
Cate Blanchett as the Evil Stepmother.. and Helena Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother! i absolutely adore Helena Bonham Carter in both good and evil roles, but getting to see her as a blonde was just wonderful <3
honestly every single detail of this movie was perfection. it had all of my favorite parts from the old animated version with just a few minor changes to bring new life to the same old story line. i could go on for ages about it, but in the end.. it really is Cinderella so there's not much to say that nearly everyone doesn't already love from the animated version or any of the others for that matter.
if you love Cinderella, this is definitely an amazing version to watch <3
