I had an ok weekend. Had some friends come and keep me company whilst the adorable and talented Idjiit was outta town. Went into work on Saturday, and did some sewing wrok on a bag I'm making at my mom's I will probably finishe the bag, er shoulderbag, during the week, so I promise pics to follow soon.

That's actually a pic from ~1998, taken during a road trip to the beach with a former girlfriend and my former '67 cadillac convertible. That is her pup Edie, a really good lab mix. Sadly, Edie got cancer and died a few year ago, and the car got too rusty to save so I sold it before I came out here. That was a fun trip with some great memories.

I did actually get my hair cut, right after prom. It's pretty short now, and much better for summertime.

PS - i like the useless sock creature!

I have had a lovely birthday! A good dinner with my parents on Friday, and a fun little bar-b-que getogether yesterday. I invited like 40 or so people, bought enough food for 60, and then only about 20 people showed, each bearing wonderful yummy side dishes. So, we have food for WEEKS! Ya know, I just can't get used to this format. Its hard for me to find my friends. I don't know why they changed it, because its not like anything was wrong before. Everything was so clear, and easy to find. GAH!!!!!!!!
