I had a cool weekend. Thrusday I went to Kareoke at a hole-in-the-wall bar. It was neat. Friday I went to eat funnel cake, wear silly hats, and fit in one of those little 25 cent cars that are built for ten year olds. )A picture was posted in a comment on my last entry) Then to Fern's which is always a jolly time. Saturday I went to Fred 62's which was cool.. Good people, ginormous sammich and the weirdest selection of music ever. Good times. Sunday I woke up late to go to the Aquarium in LBC, which I am still sorry for. Went on a harbor cruise, then cam ehome and went to go see Fantastic 4 with my brothers. Not a bad movie if you don't care about the riding or certain situational incidents. Effin awesome weekend.
Poem of the day:
(Not inspired by, but yeknomyknuf asked me to write more, so here is the most recent. btw, it was recently her bday so go say happy birthday.)
If I Told You
How would our lives be different
if I told you I wanted you?
Wanting you is all I think.
How different would you think of me
if I told you I need you?
With you life is more complete.
And what would you say if I told you of my pain?
My love for you is so deep and lonely
that it hurts to even dream.
Of all the things I wish to tell you
one problem remains clear:
You don't want to hear any of it.
-Aeria Gloris
Now off the top of my head:
The dazzling, dimmed lights dance
across your beautiful face.
Me, pulling you ever closer.
Our eyes, they meet and sparks
fill our empty voids.
Love, so simple it feels like a story.
Life, it moves forward for the world, but
time, it stops, and forever are we held,
together, in that moment of bliss
when we first kissed.
-Aeria Gloris
I kinda feel like I am on a roll, so here is another one from the top of my head:
The top of my head, so egg shaped and weird,
is a gnome of joy who dances a jig
to a song that only he can hear.
Ok really, here is the real next one:
The sickly tree dies slowly,
knowing of no fear.
It's life was long and beautiful,
with so many stories to share.
As it bends and breaks
it cries, but not because of sorrow.
It cries knowing it's death
will bring life,
making a better tomorrow.

You better be at the courthouse with us, you whore. This isn't flaking out on $1 tacos (which incidentally, you didn't miss out on much besides drinking with my mom).
