Background for those of you who haven't seen me bitching in groups: I was supposed to get a filling on Monday, while I was getting it my dentist broke part of the tooth off by mistake. Normally I'm not all that bothered about things hurting, if you'll pardon the expression I usually just grit my teeth and deal with it, but this is getting worse...

certainly am. it's washed out colour palette reminds me of ico and shadow of the colossus, which is in no way a bad thing.
Had a fun weekend with SGS. I was rubbish at the bowling as expected, but I danced and sang and annoyed people, so all in all a good night. Although I had a bit of a rude awakening when I woke up in the morning with Lofty's new cat sprawled over my covers giving me the evil eye, luckily my camera phone was next to...

Thank-you thank-you
Life seems to be moving rather slowly just now, spending a lot of my free time reading and with my head in the clouds, it's all good. Planning a short trip away in May to visit Raistlyn, looking forward to it , my last visit across was too damn fun. Few years ago I sponsored a rather surreal web comic that for some reason...

Hey Stoooo.
How's it goin'?
Yeh, I've not been on SG much at all. Haven't felt the need to look at boobies that much and been spending time at work and on Xbox. Hooray!
Have a fun weekend with all the loud.
I'm sure you will!

I suppose that I'm due for an update, but the reality is I haven't done much for the past week and a half. Between bouts of boredom related domesticity (i.e. baking, cleaning the house, and other such stuff) I've been attempting to read Halting State by Charles Stross. While the story itself is quite good, the book relates around three main characters that it switches...

Most of them are in Japanese and have a catalogue of kimono patterns and the like and the rest are all illustrators that I like. Usagrow and Mike Giant mainly.

Just a quick thank you to Zam and Mat for the book recommendations, I managed to pick up copies of them today and shall be starting them tomorrow. I'm surprisingly sober for the amount of alcohol I've indulged in today, but it's all good, have a happy glow.

That's not too bad actually, I was expecting you to say you had 12 hours more to go or something. I've got a pair of guns on my stomach, took about four hours...they're not identical which annoys me I have something of a mania for symmetry. My tattoo artist has since gone AWOL.
When're you gonna finish them? Sorry this sounds like the Inquisition

I shall be installing a laser guidance system, to point me in the right direction for a perfect bowling score.
Life is pretty good just now, I know I'm passing stuff at college, I have a week off for teacher training, and apart from the most god awful itch that periodically runs up and down my back my tattoo is healed up really well. However, I'm finding that I have a lack of mental stimulation. I think that over the weekend I'm going to splurge...

Heh, feeling miraculously better today, guess life just didn't want me going out last night. Anyway, I'm going to jump on this 2007 in review band wagon, but in a much shorter way:

Just what is wrong with Mr Roland T Rat, exactly? The shining star in my childhood, as far back as I can remember. Roland kicks ass, end of. Just wait until I get back in the swing of the tunrntablism, expect some "interesting" Roland Rat/ Congo Natty mash ups and D&B remixes!
I've been hit with some sort of bloody nasty cold, started with a sore throat that has escalated to nausea, headaches, and a variety of other fun symptoms. I may be spending new year in bed at this rate. If so I hope you all party a little extra just for me. <3
