Do you remember.

Do you remember how madly in love we once were
And all that was left unsaid
And words that were left unspoken
And all that was left undone.
How the word stood still
The one and only time you told me "I love you"
To which I replied "I love you too"
And it is as clear as this very second that is now going by.
17 years on.
I woke up thinking about you
4:27AM got out of bed.
To write those lines and give those thoughts
a little piece of eternity.
I hope you still know that after all these years...
