Blog Homework: 6/10 What is your favorite movie for movie night?
I love a movie night ... It's all about the getting ready and choosing a story and letting you go blindfold to the path that writers, actors, directos and all the crew wants you to go. So I have to say that I love "clever" movies no matter the genre.
I love a good drama, like American Beauty. The cast is beyond perfect as the actors performances, the directing and music couldn't be more on point... but above all the story is not only fun, is not only well written, but the plot twists, how the character's stories evolve along with the main plot, showing the raw reality of life... it's just too good!
But I have to admit that I'm a Horror movies fan... and again has to be clever! The cheap jump scare angers me! I need to be really afraid of whats going on and be able to feel the fear that characters transmit: Insidious, Hereditary, The Woman in Black if I'm in the mood for paranormal horror movies... but I would have to say that Creep and Creep 2... two simple reduced cast movies with an excellent plot and acting, would be my favorite of all. The twists, the acting, the way that story is told it's simply perfect... again a plot cleverly told!... so that's why I say that I like "clever movies".
