mogwai = the fucking greatest band ever. i recently just had to drive like, 3 hours from my stank hole of a town to go to columbus to see mogwai play with some ridiculous opening band from spain.
imagine that one friend you have that knows a little about guitar and will fuck about endelessly on it while everybody else hanging out is getting annoyed and you will pretty much have the opening band pretty much pegged. but mogwai was spot on, the sound was great, and they reproduced every sound they made on their albums, it was phenomonal. if you want to do yourself a favor, listen to their new single "Glasgow Mega-snake". even your parents will think it rocks hard.
if it wasn't for coke, i never would've made it home, or woke up the next morning for work after a couple hour nap. other than that everything else sucks. seeing that show was pretty much the highlight of my life, and now... i dunno, everything else is just going to be.... well, never the fuck mind.
