Man, I'm not going to lie. It feels good to be back on SG. I missed the smut AND the witty reparte. I'm going to be the world's suckiest updatrice and pop a point form list for y'all. So, here's what I've been up to:
-I'm out of the apartment from hell and am now living with two of my best friends in a gorgeous little red brick house in the village gai with a yellow staircase, a checkered floor, the world's BEST water power, a washer/dryer, window boxes for sitting/blogging, two huge balconies and a GORGEOUS garden. Now I'm gonna be a suck and completely bombard y'all with pictures.
-I gots me a J.O.B. Mothafucka! I'm VP Sales and Marketing for a jack of all trades multimedia production company. Don't even ask me how I got this sweet deal, but I work in this gorgeous studio in Old Montreal calling fancy pants companies, e-mailing like a badger with internet access, writing all sorts of stuff (magazine stuff!) and having meetings.
-Speaking of meetings, I'm going on a business trip to NYC from the 24th to the 28th. Woo to that! I hope I get some down time to frollic on my lonesome/with delightful SG types.
-I'm directing/producing/choreographing a benefit for a theatre company I worked with this past year. Jazz and cabaret musical theatre. It may be geeky as all get out, but I don't care. I'm having a damn fine time and I get to sing "Life of the Party" in public. The Certainly Not Sullivan Cabaret: July 9th at the Sala Rossa for you Montreal types.
-I'm getting really freckly and spend a lot of time walking around, listening to music and enjoying the sunny days.
-There is an unfathomable amount of bloom tea drinking going on.
-I'm officially done first year, and it feels damn nice. Now that I've got a lot of required courses out of the way, I'm taking a few English classes and maybe something in religious studies, too.
And now I have to go run a rehearsal.
