just a quick update: I'm without power (for over 2 days now) and hot water. I live in a small town in CT and it's likely we won't get our power back til the end of the week. Whoever said this hurricane was no big deal, well, you're a jerk. Trees down in my neighborhood and just mess everywhere.
of course, my Starbucks is still open and we've been slammed for the past two days with people who think that we're all a bunch of retards because we don't have red velvet whoopie pies ("what do you mean YOURE OUT?!" ... eat a dick lady, my shower was cold this morning, i think you can go without a fucking whoopie pie)
so that's that. here's hoping we actually get power back quicker than this weekend.
