Family is overrated. My grandmother shits her pants. My brother doesnt talk to my parents. I hate my aunts and uncles. My cousins are all assholes. It shouldnt bother me but it stays in my head. My last fortune cookie said "a close family is important to you." What a fucking waste of a fortune.
I hate holidays when it is customary to get together with your whole family and such. It makes me feel like shit.

My family has gone to the every-other-year schedule. Once every two years is much easier to tolerate. The off years are meant for everyone's in-laws.
