I am so jacked up just being in a theatre space again. Tis been too fucking long. I feel at home in a space like that. mixing boards, learning lines, temporary surrogate families, practice practice, and cast parties. It is pure joy, which is exactly what I have been in need of these last few months.
Today I also start my vacation. I will write a novel in one week. It will be pure shit, but fuck it. It's working, and I need to work out on the keys. Twenty reps of adjective lifts, two sets of verb blasters, and some metaphor crunches for good measure.
Wish me luck, this bastard's gonna need it.
