I want a girl who is far away. I can't let myself get sad over her. Rather, I gotta not think so hard or i'll get sick over it.

Oh, right. I have a stalker. I thought she disappeared, but she showed up at my door last night at ten pm to ask if I hate her. well, I haven't spoken to you in two months despite you calling and then sending your twenty year old giggly roommate to tell me to call you. or the emails you sent. I made it clear you make me feel paralyzed and your indecisive nature blocks my mind so I can't think. go away. I wonder if that will be the last visit.

does anyone here have experience teaching English in Asia, specifically Japan? I'm thinking of doing so this summer and need a little advice.

Hey yay, I'm on someone's friend list! Neato! Anyhoo, I did a double take when you mentioned Marclay...I recently caught a show with DJ Olive, a simultaneous improv. While Marclay was certainly impressive (and his table skills are both visually and aurally pleasing) at the show, I came away more an Olive fan...maybe it just worked in context, as his contribution was a la minimalism more than bombast. Want a REALLY good larf? You mentioned Ondes Martenot, etc. Well, today in class, we covered the Beach Boys, so all of those unsuspecting undergrads were given a taste of "wierd". Soon we'll cover Stockhausen and the Beatles.

Been to any good installations lately? Do you get many in UT?

I had a friend who tought in Japan, and he said it was amazing. Can't say much more than that though. I'd make sure the company hiring you is reputable...
Am I dumb? I don't get the AK reference...help me, educate me....smack me!
