Matrix II in two hours. I'm really numb about it, as i don't want it to let me down.
I know, I know...it's just a movie. But movies take me to places unseen and explore emotions that I didn't know I have. They can rip me into four pieces and restore me in the end. My ex. never understood how I could get so wrapped up in stuff to the point of carrying it with me for days or weeks. Dancer in the Dark...foret about it. I have to be careful what I put in my brain, even if it is beautiful (i.e. Requiem for a Dream)
I must stop saying my ex. I've had other ex's, but I guess the one for seven years just carries over and trumps the rest.
I got to interview Cex!!! What a great guy. Really accomodating and put up with my stupid reactionary-cuz-i'm-a-journalist questions.
I bought The Streets Original Pirate Material because I just couldn't take it any more. I debated whether or not to buy it for over three months now -- those are usually the best purchases. It's funny how something done in England or France can follow a very similar American template, but be infinitely cooler. And it's not so comical how things from England or France can get in the hands of American producers and get totally fucked up (fill in the blank of any movie that can out over the last five years in that situation).
I want to start writing "dance" stuff again. I hear Meat Beat manifesto and the Chemical Brothers and i get all crazy and wish that upon others. I'm opening Reason v1.3 right now...must...make...beats.
