It's something about this time of year I think. Maybe it's the weather. I just found out that two of my best friends are now on official 'breaks' with their girlfriends. I think it's a shame too because both seemed like they had the potential to be lasting relationships. That's not to say there's not a chance, but I'm a realist - and breaks are bad news. Whatever happens, I wish them the best.

So I put a request in to start a new group. It'd be called "Babies of the 80s". It'd be about growing up in the 1980s, the cartoons, the movies, the music, the fads, etc. I think that given the age group of the majority of this site, it could do quite well. The groups title comes from a Something Corporate song, which I happen to love. We'll see how the idea goes over.

I'm going to a Beginner/Intermediate KickBoxing class around dinner time tonight. Ugg. My coach asked me to go to help the new people get used to some of the drills we do. Skills wise, I don't get much out of doing these classes - but since I do like helping people I'm gonna go in.

After an hour and a half of fixing the same mistakes over and over on the beginners technique, one of my buddies who is now on a break is gonna come over to lift some weights. I hope it'll help him get rid of some of the stress I'm sure he's dealing with right now. Girls are trouble!

Other than that, there's a Senators vrs. Avalanche game on TV tonight that I'm excited to watch. It should be a good match up. Some of the guys are gonna come over and make crude sexual jokes while watching hockey. Rather cliche, isn't it?
