It's 7:40AM and I'm taking Travys home to meet his carpool. Technically
he's driving... one way, because Phoenix traffic drives me nuts.
Nothing to worry about, though. Last night's quick gym run and deep
beauty sleep together did their jobs. I literally rolled out of bed
looking glamourous [and feeling hungry] and feeling great, I'm just a
little sleepy.
One problem:
My eyes are so, so watery. I'm slightly congested. But fuck that, my
EYES are WATERY. Such a nuisance, my seasonal allergies, which are
notorious for causing sudden instances of what looks like inane
sorrow... no, I promise I'm just allergic to something in the air..
Travys is weaving in and out of traffic in my Mini Cooper. He's making
me laugh, we're talking about furries and he's turning me on with his
daring testosterone-driven speeding and recklessness. Smart
recklessness, but recklessness all the same.
Today is my day off and shall be spent accordingly. Here's to a day of
Arkanoid, Theme Hospital, Cheerios, and then a practice shoot for my
final application set.
My words of insight for this day originally came from a close friend a
few years ago in a letter: 'Never live for less than you desire.'
