I'm being totally serious. I went to visit her and on my way home I ended up stranded. 45 minutes from her house, and 45 minutes to go till I get home and I ran out of gas. I had passed something like 8 gas stations that were closed. (WTF is that???) I even saw a sign on the highway that indicated there was an ESSO 5 km off the highway, so I went there. Closed. I didn't even have enough gas to get back to the highway. I'm in the middle of nowhere - (so much that there was no cell service - but my battery decided to die then too)
She came out and rescued me. BDeyeD is my hero. Go give her some love and thank her for saving my life.
2. I can't fucking sleep. My body has been trying to sleep all day - I've actually had to concentrate to stay awake. (I totally look stoned, because my eyes have been half closed all day) I feel like I've taken a bazillion sleeping pills. I'm just not alert at all... But now that it's time to sleep... I can't.
3. Baby Liam will be here anyday! In case you don't know already - My friends are having their second baby any day now. I've got big plans to head there and take care of the toddler as well as some cooking and cleaning for a week. I knit a hoodie for Liam - and got him an outfit to go with it... For Ella (the toddler) I decided to put together a costume kit. (Initially I was going to get her a tricycle - but it turns out she already has ... 3.) I went to the salvation army today, I also went to a mall and bought a few things for it. As of right now the dress up kit contains: 3 gawdy beaded necklaces, a couple of bangles, 2 feather boas, a pink fedora, a purple sombero, a green hat, a red child size baseball cap... I plan to make a purple poncho... Things I'm missing that I would LOVE to include: a plastic tiara, a pair of wings, a child sized tulle skirt, some sunglasses and other fashion glasses, a cowboy hat, a straw hat...
