In the book I'm reading they're talking about all kinds of things that I want to learn to do.
The author and her family, committed to living for a year off of only what they could grow themselves or purchase from local producers. I want to try that.

Gardening is easy, chickens smell horrible and are tempermental, never tried bee keeping so I don't know and making your own cheese - the only thing hard about it is 1. the waiting and 2. the cultures you need for the cheese you can no longer get at grocery stores because people stopped making their own cheese. You might find them at health food stores but otherwise you can only buy them online.

I want to make my own cheese too and I miss my garden.

mmmm...coconut and lime. I saw on some show that you could live off of coconut if you were trapped on a deserted island. That's pretty cool, not that I'm up for trying it anytime soon. But if I do get stranded...oh yeah...I'm going for the coconuts.

my dad lied about his age to get into WWII too. I can't really imagine why people would want to do that so badly (the war part), but hey, to each their own I guess.

In four days I've had 2.5 meals.
It's easy to forget to eat when you feel like this.

Indeed it has. I have been crazy busy with lab and various other research projects. I am now partying every weekend! Woohoo! No, basically I am trying to party now before my schedule gets even worse in the fall. Currently trying the open relationship thing. Seems to be going well for the moment.
