I completely understand the tummy sleeping problem!!! This is how I'm sleeping now that I'm ready to pop any minute now: I have four pillows to prop up my head and shoulders, two throw pillows tucked on either side of my rib cage at boob level, and one pillow I throw a leg over or straddle all night long. I flip from side to side several times during the night. Sometimes one side is too warm and the other is numb... then I use the leg pillow and the rib cage pillows to angle my body slightly to one side (taking the pressure off vital blood pathways to my lower body, which is why they don't want you on your back in the first place) and sort of lying on my back that-a-way. When all else fails just be happy it doesn't last forever, and you're not getting leg cramps *knock wood*
Ohhhhh, I SO feel your pain! I was a tummy sleeper too, and eventually gave it up after two babies, and low back issues. *sighs* miss it to this day! Are you hips buggin you at night too? My hips started to really bother me at night when I slept at about 4 1/2 months or so, and I'd wake up alot like you are saying.
Pillows are your friend, for shore! I'm guessing Pandara's answer may be true as well.
Good luck there baby mama!! I'm so happy for you two

i was born at "the childbirth center" here in our county to a midwife- unfortunately it burnt down a few years ago, but maybe there's something similiar. now i'm curious and will go lookie.
Back in the Hospital this morning.
How fun.
The ER doc says it's definitely a drug rash - and could take 14-21 days to clear up after he takes his last dose.

What: mydogfarted rolls over and says "Look I have hives on my wrists" we idly speculate what could have caused it and decide to wash the sheets just in case. He takes a benadryl and heads to work.

mydogfarted has been admitted to the hospital for an allergic reaction. Only took three trips to the ER in less than 12 hours.
Don't know what he is reacting to - and believe me the nurses have asked.
The whole story to come later, but right now I've come home long enough to pack a hospital bag for him.
I just woke from one of those very vivid nightmares. The kind where when you wake and have a hard time distinguishing the nightmare from reality...
I don't know if relaying the details here will help or hinder the process of feeling better.
I'm in tears though. Before I fell asleep I was worried about someone. Now, I'm down right terrified for him.
He's not... Read More
People must walk their own path. Be there. Listen. Be available. Believe in them. It's not fun to watch someone you care about plumb the depths of unhappiness, but try to be positive for their sake.
And as others have mentioned - take care of yourself - so you can be there for him when he is ready.
I am not NOT a fan of Neil Gaiman, but I was never much of a Vertigo reader, so I maybe have one or two books in my possession that he wrote.
How come?
