It was bound to happen eventually, I'm a full-out dork. Not that I really mind, but there you have it. For at least the next week or two, She of the Corneal Contusions shall appear as so:



I hurt my eye (both, but one got over it) a few years ago, and I'm supposed to take a break from the contacts every once in a while, but I haven't had glasses I could actually see with in years. New glasses make me very happy.

Now I can wear glasses to go along with my anime pigtails, while selling video games to dorks. Ah, greatness. My hair is finally near-fully recovered from that self-inflicted massacre, and my bangs are doing something they've never done in my entire life. They're long enough to actually part, ohmygod. Whatever is the world coming to?

In 2005, I will love myself, do what I want, and what is best for me. Those aren't resolutions, nor are they the least bit new, but I'm not accepting excuses or alternatives. I think I'll start by growing out my bangs (which I've said I would do since I was about ten) and knocking LA off its feet in March. I work in a game store, think in html, dream about sex on pinball machines, and decide most nights to stay in and play video games in my pajamas. Until school starts, that's all there is to life. Does it get better than this? Only a small amount.
