So I'm back from gorgeous Austin (that's the view from my hotel room, believe it or not... right by the parking lot full of eight million Harley Davidson bikes, in town for a convention or something). I was gone a little over twenty-four hours, what a trip. But it was great, and Rasputina was, of course, amazing.
I had a chance to meet the fabulous Zo Keating beforehand, who was very sweet, and claimed to recognize me from a previous Austin concert, which is likely. She's emailed back and forth with me a couple of times, but faces and email addresses don't always stick together in memory. Anyway... got some great pictures through the concert, and I won't bore everyone with amazing detail... unless someone were to ask.
Poor Zo can hardly be blamed for my looking like a dork.
Also:
* Those of you who listened to the Boingo I posted in my previous entry get extra Kes points. And that's worth something, let me tell you.
* Is there anything better in the world than Madigan dreams? Very few, very few.
* Check out my new Radio Blog!
* New to Kestrel's wish list: a gorgeous McFarlane figure of the admirably wicked Elizabeth Bathory.
(Perhaps twisted, but if you keep up with my journal entries, you'll know how fascinated by that particular lady I happen to be. I also must have the Rasputin and Jack the Ripper.)
