Doo-de-doo. I can't believe I felt bad telling my boss that I had to leave my job. Turns out he's leaving, too, to go to another store. Our lead stocker is going off to the army, our lead specialty guy is moving to Iowa or something, and the lead cashier/upc sign specialist (moi) beat everyone to it.

Our vet is leaving, our customer service manager - the coolest one I've mentioned before, the little Puerto Rican lady with the cute phrases (This suck. Will you go get me a sweep?) - is going to another store, and at least three stockers will leave as soon as the store director does. Whee! It won't be one of the best stores in the country for long.

Being there makes me unhappy. And angry. I keep thinking that I have only so long left... this week, then a vacation week, and one final week of work before I'm free.

Enough about my job! Holiday hours! I have to work until eleven every night this week (uh, besides Tuesday and Friday)... even Sunday. Who is going to come in the Sunday before Christmas at 11pm to get dog food? On that day last year, we had four employees work all day, and a grand total of thirteen customers. I also gained a large scar on my arm from the reptile specialist smacking me with a cat toy. Sigh.

My industrial hurts. My Nick got his hair caught on it last night. It hasn't hurt for MONTHS. Oh, well... I need to get used to having a guy with long hair.

I have a big bruise. I was hoping it'd show (not like anyone will see it), but it just hurts instead. Invisible bruises are no fun.

Also! I'm going to New Mexico next week, wish me luck. I'll be bored. Habibi will not be coming with me, after we broke up about a month ago, and Nick has to work.

My mom got me a desk for Christmas (oh, joy), so I'm taking everything out of my room and reorganizing it. Whee. Someone shoot me.
