Yes I do feel better now. The stress overload is letting up some.
Talked to Chuck last night. He's still in Iraq. Hasn't started home yet, so it will be a few more days. He will call me when he gets to Dallas, then I'll have a few hours before I pick him up at the airport about 30 miles from here.
In answer to an earlier question - I have no idea what outfit I'll wear. I've thought of different things, but I'll probably get caught in my cammo cargo shorts & a tank top, which seems to be my uniform these days when I'm not at work
Not that Chuck would mind. He would laugh, I'm sure. The night we met, I was wearing huge overalls, a tank top, flip flops, no makeup and I had my hair tied back with a ratty bandanna! We were crazy about each other from the start.
And that's the sappy sort of story that ususally annoys me, but since it happened to us, I didn't find it annoying this time.
