Ok. I'm tired of feeling this way-depressed. I need advice on what to do.
For those of you who have not followed my journal, my lover moved out in July after we have been together for over five years. She said we lost the ability to communicate over the years (1.5 to 2 she says). She lost her job in January and I supported her and her daughter (I am the only male influence in the daughter's life so for all intents and purposes I am her father; she calls me daddy-not the biologiocal father). My lover went into a deep depression and was unable to get out. She ran up many bills and I discussed it with her about cutting back (ok-we fought over money). She moved out in July. I had emergency surgery two weeks after she left and she helped as much as she could. She moved in with her and my best friends. They are a monogamous couple who are very giving, etc. She is there still. She put me on her health insurance when she got a job and I lost mine. She says she is ready to file for divorce (we have been married for over three years-legally). We have discussed our past relationship and we agree that there are no regrets not bad times except for the non-communication part. I feel that sice we communicated so well at first and we lost our focus over the years of what is important and by her own admission she cares for me and that we only have that one bad place, we can unlearn the noncommunication part and then try to rebuild or start over.
What do you guys think? I REALLY need constructive advice here.
