I'm in Bardstown, KY this week. It's the Kentucky Bourbon Festival. Tonight I was at a "Sampler." Basically a big room with a lot of distilleries who want to ply you with booze. Not a bad time at all! I spent a lot of time meeting folks and bringing them to a friend of mine who happens to have a distillery so they could try the juice he's producing. I guess I became an unofficial brand ambassador.
If you get a chance to visit you should. It's a small town festival but about bourbon. Small, quaint, but very fun with good people and amazing drinks. I love it!
