AH! THE CURE! AH! THURSDAY! AH! INTERPOL! AH! MUSE! Yes, I saw all four of those bands two nights ago. And it was beyond awesome.
I got to see a little "behind the scenes" action as well, and I was about 20 feet away from the lead singer to Interpol and Geoff from Thursday (the lead singer as well) as they were listening to Melissa Auf Der Maur (also awesome). So, I got a little celebrity action. I can add that to my encounter with Claudio, though that was more personal and he touched me.
OK, so anyway, it was raining when we got there but it stopped once we found our seats at the main stage. After listening to the first band, we walked back to the second stage and listened to Melissa. Then we stuck around and watched Thursday's sound check. Jessica and I were in the second row from the front of the stage and were pretty close to all the sweaty action. Fortunate for us... moshing was occurring behind us. Phew. I'm scared of moshers. Anyway, Thursday's set was awesome and Geoff is so graceful! His dance moves are lovely. He has such a great stage presence. After Thursday, Shan, Jessica, my friend Fee and I went back to the main stage and sat and relaxed while listening to Interpol. I love those guys. Then we had to run back to the second stage and we missed a little bit of Muse's set, but Jessica and I still managed to plow our way through the crowd and get a good standing spot. Muse was ELECTRIC! I cannot describe how amazing they were; although, I was disappointed at how fast their set seemed to go. Then after Muse everyone grew with excitement because THE CURE was next. And during the beginning, it was enough for us to stay where we were, but then this girl sitting in our row pushed us out and was telling us to go to the next few rows up where there were empty seats. And so we did. Then we got there and Jess and I climbed over some seats and got even closer and a perfect view of Robert. Shannon stayed a row behind because she didn't want to climb over seats. The set was magical. They played a lot of material I never would have expected including "Maybe Someday," "Like Cockatoos," and (this is weird) "Charlotte Sometimes." They also played a lot of unfamiliar material, but it's probably only unfamiliar because I do not have their first few albums. Anyway, the whole experience was great, despite the fact that Fee got us lost going there and back. Tee hee.
We didn't get home until three in the morning because of getting lost, and also because we made a pit stop at a Wendy's to chow since we were all starving. I managed to buy myself a shirt at Curiosa. It's a pink baby doll Cure shirt with artwork from the new album cover. But I wish I would've bought a Thursday shirt and a Muse shirt. They were only $15 a piece, and my Cure shirt was $35! I couldn't believe how outrageous the prices were. I also wish I would've been able to take pictures with my digital camera to share with you all, but cameras were not permitted (though they did a really lousy job of checking people's stuff and I could've maybe snuck it in.)

btw, i'm jealous of your concert going.
Now that you mention it, you do look a lot like London.
