So... I was just out on the balcony smoking a cigarette, and there were these three pigeons sleeping on top of the dividing wall between our balcony and the next. They tensed up a little when I got out there, but didn't move.
...until I let out a really loud fart. Then they bolted.
And I laughed. I laughed a lot. It's great to be...

Well, it was a noble effort at least.

most certainly.

On a Cthulhu kick this week. Wednesday we picked up a couple of starter decks for the Call of Cthulhu collectible card game. We really liked it, so yesterday we got a couple more booster packs and hung around the store's game room to play a game. The game store here is really excellent, they've got two huge game rooms that are open till...

I think I've missed this whole Cthulhu boat somehow...
But yeah, I get what you were saying in my journal. As the Chinese curse says, "May you live in interesting times."

your wife -is- the coolest thing ever.
I don't really have much to say today, so here are a couple of my poems from a long time ago.

I stand in lights dawn, and call the darkness to arms,
knowing that the forces arrayed in languid pallor and shadow,

It wouldn't be accurate to say that Zolar-X were "ahead of their time", because that phrase would imply that the rest of the world caught up to them at some point. this is interesting! i'll have to check them out. the only other band i know of from around that time that made it's own language is Magma from France who formed in the late 60s and had a language called Kobaian. Definitely more prog rock than a punk forerunner, though bands like ruins and hella evolved out of magma.
it's pretty amazing that this zolar-x stuff has been released! and i'm glad this article popped up at the bottom of my window 2 years after it was written!

I love the spammer story and I'm kind of baffled by the reaction it's got. Oh well, that's me: totally unable to judge to response a story will get.
