Maybe all I need is a shot in the arm..
Tonight is the "Porn n Chicken" party. Some gals and guys are coming over to watch that new Comedy Central movie, and then we're going to eat fried chicken and watch porn. This is so going to rock.
I'm actually worried about what the neighbors are going to think. I share this building with only one other apartment, two girls about my age that go to the local christian college. They're super sweet, leave me cookies sometimes and everything, but I remember talking to them once about their exes and stuff. One of them told me she broke up with her last boyfriend because she found out he watched porn and thus was "a total perv." After that anytime I watched porn (uh.. for research purposes of course) it was with the volume way down. Obviously if a ton of people are over here the volume's gonna have to be up.
Those girls would think I was weird anyway if they knew what a den of iniquity this place was.
Springsteen's "Nebraska" is so perfect. I need to get "The Ghost of Tom Joad". Sometimes I can't believe Bruce isn't worshipped in every house in the country.
I guess most people only think of him as Mr. "Born In the USA" (one of the most widely misinterpreted songs of all time--btw) but god, such a genius. "The Rising" is great too.
