Elizabeth came over at 2 this afternoon. We went to the Museum of Art and walked around. There's a new collection in on loan from Carnegie. Modern Art, some of it's not my bag, but I really liked the video stuff. Especially this really fascinating video of a Goldberg device that took 16 minutes to go through.
Then we went to Wal-Mart, bought groceries, and came back home to cook. Here's Elizabeth with our meal.
Shrimp chow mein, couscous, rolls, earl grey tea, and ceasar salad. Yum!
After that we walked over to the Chinatown Supermarket and looked around. Bought pokky and Hello Panda snacks, and some other snacks that looked interesting, though we weren't sure what they were. Really cool market, with LIVE frogs, catfish, crawdads, snails, lobster, etc. Pretend they're for pets if you'd like.
Anyway, got some chopsticks as well, and made plans to come back later for bowls and such.
All in all, a really fun day. I always have fun with her.
