Please see bottom of blog to give me some advice/suggestions for my wedding invites.
I've decided to start using the camera on my phone to keep me actively taking pictures of at least something. I greatly miss photo journalism and keeping track of things through photography. I know my camera on my phone isn't the greatest- but at least it is a form of communication... Read More

For those of you who know me, you know I've been working my ASS off since October of last year to get promoted at the current company I work at.
Today is the day I tell them, I don't want that promotion. Its not worth the stress, the pay or my health.
I'm completely under appreciated and the way they've been... Read More

We did what we do on most religious holidays and that was stay home, eat some food and watch movies together.
I don't particularly prefer to see my family on holidays especially since I became an "adult" because we don't see eye to eye on most things so it is just easier if I keep my peace by calling them and wishing them a good... Read More
I like your idea of celebrating. Although, I am a bit jealous that I did not get sex this morning. I am going to mention to that to my boyfriend. The concept of holiday sex sounds like a good idea. We basically tend the typical family thing. Last night we colored eggs with his four year old son and then made everyone's baskets. There are 8 of us in the house and you would not believe how much candy their was! Brandon, my boyfriends little boy, laid out carrots for the Easter Bunny and some ranch dressing. He is was doubtful that he existed, so I made my boyfriend eat the carrots. I hate them! :vomit: This morning Brandon was completely uninterested in the Easter baskets in front of him. He just wanted to watch Spongebob. Once he realized there was toys and candy in there, he perked up a bit. We learned one lesson though. Candy all day + Brandon = instant demon. So next year, we are considering to use less candy! We had a nice dinner and then watched the Simpsons movie. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. I am glad you enjoyed your day as well, even if you did not feel it was "traditional." Who needs "traditional" anyhow? We defy societal norms anyhow, right?
So, we don't have a car yet but we just upgraded to a MUCH FASTER internet speed AND cable. Both of which neither of us has had in over 4 years or so. I felt like we owed a little something extra to ourselves. Work, my health issues, and being cramped up for so long together is starting to make us both cranky.
I also... Read More
I am so glad that you finally got MUCH FASTER internet. I used to live in the capital city of West Virginia, which is Charleston, and there I had cable internet and paid for the fastest speed possible. It was incredible and I also had every channel that they offered and even subscribed to a special anime only premium channel. Six months ago however, my parents, who happen to be drug addicts and abusive, threatened to kill me, so I left to move in with my current boyfriend. Until that point we lived almost two hours apart and saw each other only once a month. So that sucked. He saved my life basically and will be eternally grateful to him, but the move did have several drawbacks. First, he lives in a very rural area near a state park. The just recently got city water. Our phone lines are comparable to paper cups connected to string. We have very little channels on the television because this area hasn't been upgraded digitally yet. Our internet is supposed to be DSL, but due to the crappy phone lines, it runs normally at a dial-up speed. Recently however, it has been running even slower and it is hit or miss daily on whether or not it is even going to connect. We have had repairmen come out and try to fix with no luck. They are supposed to come out again next week, but I do not think it will help this time either. Also, we live with his parents and family. Altogether there are eight of us in the house. I sleep on the couch, while my boyfriend sleeps in a recliner. We have absolutely no privacy if we want to have any kind of intimate contact unless we wait until 3 or 4am when everyone else is asleep. On top of all that, the nearest mall or movie theater is at least an hour away and to even go to a grocery store or Wal-Mart it is a half hour away! So I am having a lot of adjusting to do and it is very frustrating. We are trying to save up and find a place of own our, but it is going to take awhile. At least I am with the one I love, I suppose. I think that you are being an awesome girlfriend for doing all that for him. Although, I think you should be pampered too. I think it should be equal in all aspects of a relationships. I would want to feel appreciated and I hope you do. Also, congrats on making some side money, I am sure that will help out greatly. I hope things continue to get better for you and you start smiling more. You have such a beautiful smile! I hope you have a Happy Easter with your friends and family! *hugs*
I do laundry, and cook (not always the most awesome food, but still) I grocery shop, and wash dogs, and feed dogs, wake up early Monday through Friday, clean the apartment a few times a week, work a full time job and maintain whatever else needs maintaining.
I was always so against being domesticated.
I feel so busy. But am I having fun? Am I... Read More
this is definitely an unfortunate side-effect of getting older, but you won't feel like that all the time, you'll find some cool "hang out at a moment's notice" friends and it'll be better
I know how you feel. I never pictured myself where at am now at this age when I was younger. I will be 30 in October and I thought then by this point my life would be so more exciting. Truth is, it isn't it is boring. Or at least in my opinion. It is the same routine everyday and very rarely changes. What happened to the excitement? Is it our age? I totally see what you say about the friends thing too! Maybe it is because some of them have families and must plan more instead of being spontaneous like when we were teenagers. As for me the drinking thing got old. You do it over and over and eventually it just doesn't have the same effect it seems. Anyhow, I totally understand how you feel and I hope both of us find something to spice things up a little. We are still young after all.
