my cat is dying.
he is 18 and until recently has been fine. he's gotten really skinny and his eyes are weeping goop. sister took him to the vet and the vet took a blood sample and gave eye drops.
he is tiny and haggard and he used to be so big and tough.
he is sleeping on my mums bed and he looks like a corpse.
he's all ragged and used to be smooth and beautiful.
he is a cuddly little anglel that loves ppl, and now he won't even sit on ppl unless he is on a pillow cos..its too uncomfortable? ppl aren't soft enough?
he takes forever to sit down, lay down, get up, limps when he walks. i always put a pillow in front of the heater for him, he always wants to sit in front of the heater, even when its off. so i turn it on and put him on a pillow.
i don't want him to die. we've had a cat called smokey (mookah, mookat, mookely, mockles, bockles, big range of nicknames) forever. knowing thats changing soon is weird. knowing i want it to change cos it hurts me to see him limping around and taking forever to move. he looks like he's in pain.
i want the vet to say the blood tests showed that all he neds is more .... and he'll be fine. but i know its going to be something like he has kidney failure, or liver failure, or something else that makes someone lose so much weight so quickly.
