i went home to michigan to visit my family last week and trapped something special in their basement.
this little bat was sound asleep in a shoe. we think it got in through an old and never used wood burning stove in the basement.
I stuck a quarter next to it for scale. It was so cute. (don't worry, i didnt actually touch it.. everyone told me that bats can carry rabies)
So i took it outside and set it free.
