Crazy day>.<
Went snowboarding today for the first time of my life and my manager brings us up the ski lift to the top, I don't freaken know how to ride yet, but i was like w/e.
So we trying to snowboard down and my manager says he feels exhausted after riding like maybe half a block, and he stayed on his back, i though he was fine and just joking, then few mins later the workers at the mountain comes by and me and my other co-worker went to check up on him, He says he's tired and cant make it down, i though he was just exhausted or dehydrated since he didn't drink much water or eat.
So they took him down on a ski bed thing idk what they are called, and i'm stuck up on the mountain with my co-worker. we decided to try to make our way down withe the snowboards, I bust my ass like 2 times and the rest were just go a bit and stop.
Then about half way down they call my co-worker and they say that they are going to send him to the hospital for in case. So we decided to just take off the snowboards and run the other half.
Maybe 30mins later my other co-worker that was late went straight to the hospital since we called him up to let him know, called us and told us he had an heart attack.
We got down the mountain but we don't have the keys for the locker, so we just paid 10$ to open it and we also didn't have the car keys, we called up our other co-workers that were late and had them drive us to the hospital.
We got there, found our co-worker and he explained what he knows and what we should do next, like contact his wife.
We didn't have her number so we just waited, the doctor comes in and tell us what happened.
Turns out he had an heart attack because 2 of his arteries were totally clogged 100%.(you only have 3 main arteries to the heart)
this what they basically did WebMD
And now he has to stay there for at least 2 days to make sure his heart is ok and if he need surgery or not.
So crazy >.< he looked perfectly healthy until he got up there, i'm guessing maybe its the cold and probably a build up and less oxygen up there and his blood thicken or something, idk.
but i hope he gets well soon.
