so i survived the hurricane.. just barely...
finally made it out of the city last night. it was a warzone by the time we left. 80% of the city underwater and just everywhere around us people fighting and looting and really everyone was just carrying guns around in plain view.
it was an amazing experience, the last few days.. especially the aftermath, so unexpectantly worse than the storm strike itself..
Sometime in the next couple days I'll give a detailed front-line report of our whole experiece, as well as uploading a bunch of pictures I was able to get right after the worst of the rain & wind stopped, before it became too dangerous to walk around with anything of value (ie my digital camera). So check back soon!.
