Work seems like it's going to be hell today.
Just so much mindless crap to do. My job is so tedious. It isn't difficult, by any stretch of the word. It is just tedious. Same thing, every day. Calling the same people, asking the same questions until I get different answers.
I have a headache. I tried to eat some oatmeal this mornign but it tasted horrible.
I started reading another book today. This is my third book in less than two weeks. Though this one is over 1,000 pages so it might take me more than two days to read. Plus, the last book I read was a reread (Replay by Ken Grimwood).
The premise of the book is a man, 40ish has a heart attack. He "wakes up" from this heart attack, 18 years old in his college dorm room. All of his knowledge is still in tact, he's just been thrown back in time. So he makes investments in companies he knows will flourish, bets on horse races, world series, builds a new family, new home, etc. The day comes when he died in his last life and he dies...again. And he is put right back to when he was 18. Just a few hours later. Nothing has changed. He just spent 20 some odd years trying to make something of himself and he's back where he "started"
This happens over and over again until he meets a woman who is also "replaying"
They fall in love. They realize that every time they replay its a few hours...days later.
I won't tell you anymore, read the book yourself. Hell, I'll let you borrow mine (if you promise to give it back).
SO heres my question. What would you do with unlimited time? "Unlimited"
I think my first life would be spent just like his. Betting money, winning money, playing the stock market, enjoying the luxuries of life i've never been able to enjoy before. I'd take more risks. I'd go sky diving. I'd cover my body in tattoos. (just to get new ones in my next life! clean slate!). I'd apologize...I'd make amends...I'd make and try to keep friends.
In this book, this man lives a total of about....9 lives. So he basically lives over 200 years total. With all that time, what would you do?

The other night nathan and I went to the movie theatre and realized no one was watching the entrance, so we snuck in and saw 50 first dates. What a kickass movie. Drew Barrymore makes my heart a flutter. THe movie is hopelessly sweet. Adam Sandler is just awesome. Every morning her memory is erased because of an accident. Every day Adam tries to make her fall in love again.
It was disappointing that throughout the whole movie she never regains her memory. But it made me cry a little.

Tonight I think Nathan and I are going food shopping and to get him a haircut. He looks scruffy. Hehe. We need to go foodshopping sooooooooooo bad.
Prom is coming up soon and I'm really excited. I've got two months to lose...20 lbs. I think I can do it. ANyone have any weight loss suggestions? Any work out tips? Anything?
I"d be greatly appreciative.

I work at a screen printing company. We make Tshirts and stuff for people. It's AMAZING how much people get charged. We pay 70 cents for a shirt, we charge 3.25. That's BEFORE its screen printed or embroidered. We charge over a dollar sometimes per shirt for screen printing. More for embroidery. CRAZY!
lol.
Anyway, I guess I'm done ranting for now. These journal entries sure have gotten long. Maybe short and sweet is better? More people would read and respond that way.
Maybe I just have more to say as of late.

And I'm glad you want to lose the weight for you. That is a good thing. Just take your time. The 20 pounds did not appear over night so it's not going to disappear overnight either.
