This works out well as I was just thinking about this recently since it seems like everyone is doing it! It was hard to choose just a couple of characters though, because I'm so eclectic in general and it just depends on the context, etc etc.
To start - Holly Golightly :) I had actually never watched Breakfast at Tiffany's or even knew what it was really about until someone told me that I was a lot like her. It was a bit unsettling to watch at first because there were so many things that hit close to home! But it is a really nice feeling to make that connection also - I just like it especially being an older movie - I love historical examples that show women or their way of thinking to be not so different or less spirited than we are today. I love Jane Austen novels for that reason also - even if she didn't really overcome social adversity in her own life, it was obvious she still had a progressive way of thinking. It is nice to see someone with a lot of similar strange little habits and stuff too :)
The Caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland! In fairness, I share some similar traits with Alice too, but I just felt the Caterpillar was most fitting. Particularly when someone is still new or strange to me, I can be just really quiet, introspective, guarded, whathaveyou. When I'm happy, I'm kind of silly and full of bubbles lol, but when I need to be serious or deal with negative things, I tend to be a bit of a stoic xD Also given the forensic psych perspective, sometimes I can get really interrogative and just all 'WHO. are. YOU?' I'm not the type to try and psychoanalyze everyone I meet or speak to by any means, but it kind of triggers me if it becomes necessary to evaluate someone's motives towards me or someone comes to me with a problem.
Last, but not least, Ichigo Momomiya from Tokyo Mew Mew (Anime). Ichigo was my first real introduction to 'proper catgirls' when I was younger (Catwoman is also an early influence, but in a very different way). The anime is cheesy and cutesy, but I can kind of be like that too and like Ichigo, I would totally be off fighting crime and kicking bad guy ass, then get all anxious because it made me late for a date with Master and coo over how great he is xD I think my style is definitely my own, but still reflects her a little bit too.
