i *must* get to the lab this weekend. i need to sepia tone a bunch of one of a kind prints in hopes that some kind souls on ebay will purchase them. my mad money is running kinda short these days and that makes for an unhappy kattaryna!
i seem to be dragging friends into SG with me as i keep telling them how cool this place is! so, beware as lots of cool peeps will be coming to an SG profile near you! teehee.
went out last nite to an art opening. good grief it was HOT! third floor of a cigar factory and too many people, inadequate air conditioning --- i melted. it was so uncomfortable i couldn't even pay much attention to the work. i ended up just being social and leaving. a group of us headed out to carrabba's and we ate, drank and were merry. that was good. and i quit melting once i left the art opening. i am still shocked at how uncomfortable that space was. it couldn't be good for all the photographs there --- thank goodness it was a one day only show or i would have been running around telling people to take their photos OUT of there so they wouldn't be ruined. heat ages photos faster than ANYTHING.

that art opening sounds like the store i work in, constantly people are coming in telling me how how it is. i'm like yeh i'm here 10 hours a day standing, at least it's only 30 minutes for you! means i'm wearing shorts and vest to work in the heart of winter, urgh, dont like heat...shit what'll it be like when i get to florida? aaargh!!
