Step-mom is doing worse. They're telling us she won't make it out of the hospital. Took her off sedation so she could say (write) goodbye, instead she wrote that she's not giving up. They tell us her attitude will play into her recovery but maybe not enough. Daddy is falling apart. I'm exhausted. And now we wait.
