i think that i have a set idea that i am pretty happy with. now i just need to find someone to shoot it. i don't live anywhere big and i don't have the cash to travel to a photographer right now, so i am just going to do the best we can with a friend shooting it. she's got a good camera and we will do our best with lighting and shit. i think the best way to go is to shoot a bizillion shots and hopefully we will end up with a bunch to send in out of those. at any rate it's going to be fun...........if the set is accepted or not, at least i will end up with a ton of rad photos to keep. i took some good test ones last night that i am happy with and my camera isn't the best, but i played with the lighting and was happy with the result....and that was in sunlight. i tried fucking with the white balance on the camera, but i have nooooo clue....so it didn't do better than the auto setting.

Hey Katherine, sounds good to me. I seriously think one can get too freaked out on the first set. I read stuff and think hell this is suppossed to be fun! The two girls I've helped so far, Faithe was shot in my living room, one evening with a $400 digital camera and two uplifted light halogens but domestic ones, and we bought some orange material. OK, she is incredibly hot and i'm incredibly talented, but the point is it was a real homespun thing and it was good. The other girl in the queue is Tragique and we did a set at a Motel with nothing, I mean NOTHING. just the room lights the room decor itself and obvioulsy that talent thing again !
Seriously.... the very best advice I think is have fun (look happy!) and study the angles and poses that they use across the set. The stuff that Cherry and Albertine do is stunning, I just look and study!
