I love you guys!

Thanks for all your kind words about my mama, I can't even bring up her deathaversary with my closest friends at work, it's nice to be able to talk a bit about it somewhere. I effing love you guys

Lets get serious, lets TALK ABOUT THE FRONT YARD

so I already have the paint for the house I just need to paint it As far as the landscaping goes, i really want to get rid of most of the grass and do low water-drought resistant plants

i love this look, with the large stepping slabs up to the front door, I'm talking to my dad about us pouring some of those in the fall , then lots of bark, moss, ground cover and desert grasses.



for the back yard, I already have a compost pile, but I want to put some raised garden beds in the center of the grass area between the rose bushes, MAYBE a chicken coop so we have eggs and a bee hive (save the honey bees!)



and I love the flagstone look I may have to put that around the edges of the yard out front and the other half of the yard out back,



I've taken quite the break from home improvment, tomorrow i need to paint the office and set it up as a guest room then sat its off to dads to hang out with sis and her kids
