Mirabelle the house update

It's terrifying to me that I have made my house unlivable at the moment, I could have moved in right after I bought her, she would have been less than pretty, but livable, after we took out the wall ac and heating units, i was like, holy shit THERE IS A HOLE ALL THE WAY THROUGH MY HOUSE,



and I can see into my garage from my living room, it made me very uneasy, then My dad taught me how to do drywall and all that fun stuff, so the holes are plugged and are no more. (phew)

My back yard is trashed, full of all my house garbage frown




Today I'm going to keep working on mudding all the nail holes and re-mudding all the ceiling seams and nail holes so i can texture the wall and ceilings, that will be a good workout, the texture gun is HEAVY. shocked



bless robs heart, he finished off the rest of the popcorn ceilings for me biggrin

it's pretty awesome that you're doing most of the work yourself. i am so sick of doing stuff with this house and we're not doing near as much as you. i have to go over tuesday and clean all the floors, dust, and start getting things set up where i want them. i really want to paint the rest of the bedroom so i can get that set up since i'm going to have internet there next week, i want to be able to sleep there too. and of course take full advantage of my new dvr biggrin

i miss you lady. when are you coming to visit me?

ps. did peanut run away?! silly puppy. i'm sure she'll come back to you soon.

Oh...that's just my imagination running amok. I've got whole worlds in my head; centuries of history, customs, races, languages, pantheons, cities, kingdoms, mage guilds...and most of it is mapped...down to the sewer systems beneath cities. I dunno...it's where I'm happiest. Sometimes I wonder if this is why I have such a hard time relating to others. Anyway, I've always been this way. My mother used to joke that I was the easiest kid to keep occupied, because if I could find a stick that even remotely looked like a space ship or a sword...I was gone...for hours.

I didn't catch what happened to peanut, but I'll send preemptive good vibes before I go back in your blog to find out.
