Today was INSANE! eeek First, I saw a thirteen y/o boy get hit by a car! Needless to say I took charge and was the 1st to get to him (left my car in the middle of the intersection) and took off as soon as the first cop got there. Crazyness. Then I went to my old county college to get my transcripts transfered and they had no records of me! Thank goodness I saved my old report card...Proof that I existed! Then I stopped at a Hydroponic store and bought organic insecticide and 2 magazines on gardening, but when I got home I found the whole $15 bottle spilled on the mags! No way I was gonna leave my house again after that. So I stayed in and cleaned my room.

Damn that sounds way worse than what happened to me. The guy drove off after asking me if I was ok (which I am) and the cops gave me and my damaged bike a ride home. I should have demanded money or something whatever
Oh well, it coulda been worse. smile

well...so i had to ask someone about your question. yes, they have pretty much always charged..espicially since its gotten to be about 25000 people. my gfriend says its because they have to get permits...also because people volunteer yearly..im sure that some of those people work at burning man plans all year long as if its their job. im sure that they are making a profit...but not much considering all the supplies that are used to create everything including the burning man itself. a few years ago it was big enough (tall enough) that it could of been seen in space.

you know that they have scholarships and stuff right?

your day sounds crazy...yesterday was a day like that for me.
