Hi guys! How are you?
It's been a long time since I blogged, my mind is been all over the place for a few months now, so I haven't been able to gather my thoughts in an understandable way.
Life in Brazil during this pandemic has been tough. But I´m well and so far haven't been infected by the virus.
Just to update my profile with some new info about myself, I will answere this questions I fould on @xheartswornx profile.

1. Name
Kalinca is my real name, I never had the creativity to invent an online alias. As far as I know is a Russian name, and is a type of Juniper tree and also a famous Russian folk song. My father told me he read the name in a novel he read years before I was born, but he could never remember the name of the book. It took me years to like my name, cause is not very common and I hated to repeat myself and spell it every time. But now I really appreciate its uniqueness.

Sun in Cancer. Moon in Leo. Mars in Aries. Venus in Gemini. Ascendant in Leo.
3. Favourite TV Show
It changes all the time according with what I’m currently watching. But some of my all time favourites are: The Office (US), Parks and Rec, Broad City, Atlanta and Queer as Folk.
4. Favourite Drink
Water or Coke.
5. Favourite Alcoholic Drink
Moscow Mule
6. Favourite Season
We don’t have seasons in Brazil, but when I was living in Japan my favourite season was fall. I just love the colours and temperature.

Oasis.

Supermarkets, especially when I’m travelling.

Fiction, always. I like to scape from reality. I’m a sucker for YA, but I also like romance and crime novels.
10. What is a cause you are really passionate about?
Class, race and gender.
11. What did you study or learn?
I studied photography and cinematography.

Anywhere with universal healthcare and the police is demilitarised.
14. Who influenced you most?
My mom. We don´t see eye to eye on a few things, but her independence from
men and her open mindness to other´s lifestyles were influentional on my outlook in life.
15. Who is your favourite celebrity couple?
Meryl Streep and Don Gummer are married for 40+ years.

17. What helps you relax?
I like to smoke some weed while watching a movie.
18. What topic do you think shouldn't be taboo?
Sexuality. Non-monogamy.
19. What is the greatest accomplishment of your life?
Not having a boss and working and earning money doing something I like.
20. What do you want to achieve in your life?
At this moment I´ve been reflecting a lot on my ambitions. Sometimes I feel like I´m too idealistic and therefore my ambitions may be impractical and unrealistic. Currently I feel like everything I´ve been working in my 20s have been pointless. Maybe I should be aiming for a simple and chill life away from the noise of politics and social issues. But I also don´t know if I´m the kind of person who can just go live off grid and alienated. So... I have a lot in my mind these past months.
