Another cooking day!



Steak and Ale pie with home made puff pastry!

That's right folks I made my own puff pastry, it wasn't the long method but rather a rough method that only takes a about an hour between making and chilling. I think it came out pretty epic for my first time, there's room to experiment but that's what cooking is all about! It was super tasty and I'm all full up now!

I realized through this that I need a casserole dish with a lid! I'd also like a more precise scale as my dollar store one isn't very accurate. These things take a while for a new kitchen to accumulate especially one of a students!

All and all I'm extremely happy with it and just want to keep on baking!
