Somehow managed to bang my right foot up something fierce this week. No idea how unless it was my usual stumbling about half asleep at some point in the morning/night. Still, I think I'd remember something happening considering I couldn't really walk on it yesterday. Missed work because of it. Got some nice painkillers though.

Back to work today - in under an hour in fact. Foot isn't as bad - I can put some weight on it - but I still have a limp and will be hobbling about and probably icing it down again tonight. At least with the head shaved I don't have to stand up that long to get myself together. Never really thought about how much of a time-saver it is. Don't know if I'll keep it this way for a while or if I'll grow it all long like in the old days. Got quite a while to decide anyway.

Earlier a friend e-mailed me and told me she envied a man who shot himself in the head at the end of last week. Don't really know what to say to that. Been there before, but light years away from it now. Part of me is annoyed and screaming, "Attention whore!" and part of me is concerned. It certainly doesn't feel good either way. Guess I'll have to take some time to mull that reaction over as well.
