This was a really fucking annoying day and it did not need to be. I did a focus group last wednesday and was paid $100.00 in a check. However the checks bank is in New Jersey and the check is made out to cash and does not have my name on it. I went to 10 different check cashing places and nobody would cash my check. I dont understand that in todays technology that it would be this difficult to cash a check. I tried a few different banks and liquor stores and nobody would touch it. What people cant call the bank? The fucked up thing is I have no other money right now until Thurs and I had plans to go out tonight but I couldnt. I would have had at least $60.00 but I knew I had this check so I had already spent that money at Joes Crabshack. I still have no idea how I am going to cash this check.
