I hate airport security. I really do. I've been frisked once, for no real discernible reason, and I felt like I was just going through it because I'm tall, have long hair, and look like a fucking dead beat.
That being said, I still feel like a fucking yuppie every time I go through it. I think airport security checkpoints are a massive waste of time, they're just random checks on "suspicious" looking people. But yet, I never raise my voice against it when I'm there. The main reason is a fear that I'll be detained for hours on end for daring to question the patriotic and heroic misson to protect us from the evil terrorists. Or muslims. They're pretty much interchangable given America's security mindset.
Most importantly though; am I just rational in avoiding expressing my low opinion of TSA while they're in earshot? Or, am I just a punk bitch leftist who is all talk and no walk?
